Instructions

  • Step 1:
    Go to the "Messengers" page on the Old Apps website.
  • Step 2:
    Scroll down until you see the "Yahoo Messenger" link. Click this link.
  • Step 3:
    Browse through the different versions of Yahoo Messenger until you find the "Yahoo Messenger 5.0" link. Select that link.
  • Step 4:
    Click the "Download" link underneath the "Download Old Version of Yahoo Messenger" heading on the right side of the Web page. Doing so will take you to the download link for Yahoo Messenger 5.0. Click this download link and you will be able to save the Yahoo Messenger setup file onto your computer.
  • Step 5:
    Open the Yahoo Messenger 5.0 setup. Follow the on-screen instructions that appear to install Yahoo Messenger 5.0 onto your computer.
