Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Step 1:
Measure the depth of the shelf to determine the distance from the back wall that the shelves will extend. Measure down from the ceiling where the height of the shelf will be and make a mark. Using the measure of the depth of the shelf make another mark to center up where the first shelf bracket will be mounted on the wall. Place the bracket on that mark and using the pencil mark through the holes to pin point where to drill for the mounting nails.
  • Step 2:
Drill a 1/4-inch hole in the two marked holes. Place the bracket and line the holes up and secure the bracket to the wall with the mounting hardware. Lightly tap the mounting nails into the wall. Do not hammer them into the wall.
  • Step 3:
Repeat the two steps previous steps to mount the second bracket on the wall for the opposite end of the shelf to be secured to the wall. Place the shelf into the brackets and level the shelf using the level placed on the shelf. Mark a place on the back wall for the clip to be install to support the rear of the shelf. Remove the shelf. Drill a 1/4-inch hole in the wall and mount the clip to the wall. Mount a clip every 12 inches and no further then 2 inches from each end.
  • Step 4:
Insert the shelf into the front brackets and snap the back side into the wall clips. Using the level make sure the shelf is level from side to side and front to back. Repeat the above steps for additional shelves.
