Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Step 1:
Research the differences in making smoothies. There are several different ways to make a smoothie. It all has to do with what you want to put in them. You can make vegetable smoothies, fruit smoothies, even protein smoothies. Example: If you need more protein you can add some of this to your smoothie with protein powder or other ingredients.
  • Step 2:
Taste test. Find some ingredient combinations that you enjoy to drink. Make this time feel like you are treating yourself. You want to keep it simple because the simpler they are, the easier it will be to follow your plan.
  • Step 3:
Add one to your diet. Slowly begin to incorporate smoothies into your diet, this way your digestive system can also adjust. The only way you will find out if it will work for you is by drinking one or two in between meals (your meals need to follow your calorie and dieting intake rules).
  • Step 4:
Make adjustments to your current diet plan if necessary. If you are going over your suggested calorie intake by drinking a smoothie, you will have to cut back on some of your food calories to keep within your dieting regulations. This may make you hungry quicker but this is where you will substitute your nutritious smoothie to kill the hunger.
  • Step 5:
Ensure that you are getting the nutrients that you need in your diet plan. You can pack a lot of vitamins and nutrients into one small drink to get back on track. Smoothie drinks can be very versatile.
