Instructions

  • Step 1:
Invite several of your closest horror movie loving friends to your horror movie night. No horror movie party would be complete without guests to scare!
  • Step 2:
Rent several spooky movies for guests to choose from. Here are some suggestions to get you started: "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre," "Halloween," "Wrong Turn," "The Exorcist," and "Jaws." These are all favorites that are sure to get people jumping out of their skin.
  • Step 3:
Make several snacks to feed the masses! What is a great horror movie without snacks to munch on? You must provide this as well as everyone's favorite beverages.
  • Step 4:
Keep the lights down low during the movie. This will add to the ambiance of your horror movie party. There is nothing like the dark to get people spooked.
  • Step 5:
Turn off all distractions such as phones and pagers. The less interruptions the better to keep the movie flowing and scaring your guests.
  • Step 6:
Set up a little spook for your guests. Pay a neighbor to break in on the party in costume, or have some kind of jolt in store for your guests. (Just be sure to be safe about it.)

Tips & Warnings

  • Always make sure that you thank your guests.
