Instructions

  • Step 1:
    There are several websites available online which allow you to privately search for free STD testing locations. Yourstdhelp.com allows you to search for clinics by state and provides the public with useful information about numerous types of sexually transmitted diseases. (See Reference 1)
  • Step 2:
    Call or visit your local Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood clinics can be found at Plannedparenthood.com. Planned Parenthood offers low-cost and free services to the community including pregnancy prevention education and testing for sexually transmitted diseases. (See Reference 2) Not all Planned Parenthood locations offer free STD testing and the cost (if any) may be determined by your income level.
  • Step 3:
    Call your city or state health services agency and ask them for the location of free STD testing locations. Health services agencies can help point you in the right direction and can provide you with more information about how to treat or prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
