Instructions

Deleting the Browsing History Using the "Tools" Menu

  • Step 1:
    Open your web browser. Click "Tools."
  • Step 2:
    A drop-down menu will appear. Click "Delete Browsing History..."
  • Step 3:
    Click on "Delete history..."
  • Step 4:
    Click on "Yes" when you are asked "Are you sure you want to delete your history of visited websites?"
    This will delete the browsing history.

Deleting the Browsing History Using the "Internet Options" Menu

  • Step 1:
    Open your web browser. Click "Tools."
    A drop-down menu will appear. Click "Internet Options."
  • Step 2:
    Click "Delete..." in the "Browsing history" section.
  • Step 3:
    Click "Delete history..."
  • Step 4:
    Click "Yes" when you're asked "Are you sure you want to delete your history of visited websites?"
    This will delete the browsing history through "Internet Options."

Deleting the Browsing History Offline

  • Step 1:
    Click "Start."
    Click "Control Panel."
  • Step 2:
    Click "Network and Internet."
  • Step 3:
    Click on either "Internet Options" or "Delete browsing history and cookies."
  • Step 4:
    Click on "Delete..." in the "Browsing history" section.
  • Step 5:
    Click on "Delete history..."
  • Step 6:
    Click on "Yes" when you're asked "Are you sure you want to delete your history of visited websites?" This will delete the browsing history offline.
