  • Step 1:
    Type the website address of the socializing website you would like to join into the address bar of your Internet browser. Hit "enter" on your keyboard.
  • Step 2:
    Click on the link designated for "new users" or "new accounts." Although the wording may slightly vary, the new-user link should be distinguishable.
  • Step 3:
    Enter all requested information into the form fields. Submit form. Many socializing websites will send a confirmation link to your email address. In that case, you will click on the email link to activate your account.
  • Step 4:
    Log into your account with the username and password selected when you created your account.
  • Step 5:
    Click on the "profile" link to edit your profile. This is where you can upload pictures, music and other information about yourself that can enhance your socializing experience.
  • Step 6:
    Search for people or groups that spark your interests and begin socializing. It might be necessary for you to submit a "friend request" to an individual or group in order for you to begin communicating with them.
