Moisturizing helps to soften skin, and give it a smooth appearance.
Home RemediesStep 1: The juice of green apples effectively treats fine lines and wrinkles. Apply the juice and leave it on your skin for 15 minutes before rinsing off. You can use the core of a pineapple or its juice to improve skin tone and texture. Rub juice liberally all over your face, and rinse off after 10 minutes. Use papaya juice on rough skin. Papayas contain enzymes that remove dead surface skin. Watermelon is a great cleanser when crushed, and smeared into your skin. Apple cider vinegar can be used externally, or taken internally, to promote younger skin. Apply vinegar to your face using a cotton ball, let dry for 10 minutes, and then rinse off. Or mix 2 tsp. of organic cider vinegar into water and drink it. Some people may be sensitive to the acid in vinegar either on their skin or if it's ingested. Please use caution when trying this remedy
Scrubs and masksStep 1: Facial scrubs and masks are great for exfoliating The following recipes require few ingredients and are simple to blend.
Facial mask Mix 1 tbsp. of pure liquid honey with 2 tbsp. of natural yogurt, and add a little cucumber juice. Refrigerate the mixture, allowing it to set. Apply the mask to your face, and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse it off, pat your skin dry, and apply moisturizer.
Facial Scrub Mix a small amount of honey with ground almonds to form a paste. This scrub is good for removing oil and dead skin cells. Massage paste into skin, then rinse with cool water.
