Instructions

Cheat Mode

  • Step 1:
    To access Cheat mode to enter a cheat code, press "Pause" while in the game, select "Cheats" in the Options menu, then select "Enter new cheat." Enter a cheat code to activate it throughout the round of game play. A "+" in a cheat code signifies that the two colors must be entered simultaneously.

No Fail

  • Step 1:
    This code cannot be used in Career mode but assists you when facing opponents or when playing single-song missions. The No Fail cheat allows you to pass the song even if you enter all keys incorrectly. You will receive at least the minimum points necessary to move on to the next song level. Press, in sequence, Green+Red, Blue, Green+Red, Green+Yellow, Blue, Green+Yellow, Red+Yellow, Orange, Red+Yellow, Green+Yellow, Yellow, Green+Yellow, Green+Red.

Large Gems

  • Step 1:
    Large gems allow you to see music notes from a distance, giving you time to prepare for the next series of keys. Enter Green, Red, Green, Yellow, Green, Blue, Green, Orange, Green, Blue, Green, Yellow, Green, Red, Green, Green+Red, Red+Yellow, Green+Red, Yellow+Blue, Green+Red, Blue+Orange, Green+Red, Yellow+Blue, Green+Red, Red+Yellow, Green+Red, Green+Yellow. This will allow you to plan ahead to determine your mission of attack, especially difficult in hard levels of play when numerous keys are coming your way at a rapid pace. When five keys are in use during Expert mode, large gems will help you determine your next move.

Unlock Everything

  • Step 1:
    This code allows you to unlock all characters, songs, bonuses and play modes. Enter Green+Red+Blue+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Blue, Green+Red+Yellow+Orange, Green+Blue+Yellow+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Blue, Red+Yellow+Blue+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Blue, Green+Yellow+Blue+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Blue, Green+Red+Yellow+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Orange, Green+Red+Yellow+Blue, Green+Red+Yellow+Orange. This cheat especially is useful when you want to unlock a familiar song not available for play until late in the game or when you want to play an opponent and would like to have a long list of song options available.
