Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • Socks
  • Empty mesh produce bags (from onions, oranges, etc.)
  • Drawstring
  • Step 1:
Draw a piece of string through the top of the mesh produce bag.
  • Step 2:
Give a bag to each member of the family.
  • Step 3:
Have them put their dirty socks inside the bag until wash day. Have them separate whites and colors into two different bags.
  • Step 4:
Put the entire bag, socks and all, in the washer with other laundry.
  • Step 5:
Throw the bags in a medium to low heat dryer.
  • Step 6:
Give the bag with the clean socks back to your family members, and start again for the next laundry day.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't want to use the mesh bags, buy different colors of socks for each member of the family. At least sorting will be a breeze.
