i don,t know the story but a friend and i are arguing about how much grease to put in a motor bearing. He says 1oz weight i say 1 oz volume because label also has 1.8 cu in which is equal to 1 oz volume or fluid. but being that oz of grease is almost equal whether volume of weight it really doesn't matter. but i know i am correct saying volume in fluid oz
