Thanks, Pastor:) Had to smile because your answerbag nickname is the same nickname my step-daughter gave me; but, mainly, I thought your answer was very thoughtful and thought provoking.

Thanks for the encouragement I think too many Christians are confrontational and not relational.

"sinner saved by grace" prefers to pray on the corners of the streets with vain repetitions.
by Magenta on June 20th, 2007
sinner saved by grace is a young believer who is simply trying to see what people outside his world think. He is not judging or preaching. He is simply seeking answers. That is what this place is for.

Thank you, Idne. I think that they are partially right though. I'm not trying to judge or be a hypocrite, or preach (I'm not a preacher) I'm just trying to show people how they can go to heaven and have peace with God, but the manner by which I am doing it may not be the right way.

I think you are a great guy and I think it shows in your questions. Maybe if you wait for a natural opening in a comment you can more easily get your point across. And if you ask your questions in a way that will spark a dialog you will be more successful.

Thank you to both of you for your dialogur, ny concern in the whole issue is that if we get people's backs up by over enthusiasm they then determine that we are cranks and will not communicte but if we are wise then opportunities will be available to talk with new found friends about the hope that is within us. Carry on SSBG don't let your enthusiasm be curbed.

I need to point out that our deeds on earth do not qualify or disqualify us for heaven; our faith that Jesus died for our sins is what qualifies us.
