Question

Help answer this question below.

My dog licks his paws raw often. We think it's just a nervous habit (he's got a stressful life I suppose). Can this cause any harm and should we discourage the behavior?

If this is a behavior problem, I would highly recommend the Anti-LickStrip from a company called Nurtured Pets. . Its a pet bandage that stops licking biting and chewing . It can be used on a variety of things like: hot spots, lick granulomas, sores and insect bites etc. I used this product on my 8month old lab who was constantly licking her paws. I used it for 10 days- she didnt want to even go near the problem area and she broke the habit! I never liked using those pet sprays because you never know what harmful ingredients are in them but this bandage is made with natural ingredients!
