I dealt with acne through my teen years. Even with a dermatolgists help, I had a terrible case of it for at least three years. For me the best thing was to wash my face with dial (anti-bac) soap every night when before going to bed. I tried to avoid washing my face more than that because the more I washed, the worse it would get. Try to avoid jobs where you will be cooking around grease or there is a possibility of oils/chemicals getting on your skin.

Also, my friends swear by that 'proactiv' stuff. I've never used it but they all say it works wonders and you don't need an Rx. Unforunately, I do know it's expensive so that may not be the way to go for you. I never had luck with over-the-counter topicals but you may have a different experience. Everyone's different and just about everyone has acne at some point or another; you are not alone.
