Which Gameboy color games, if any will work on the original Gameboy?

    There are several that games that function on both versions. Pokemon Gold and Silver versions, most notably, as well as Grand Theft Auto (1, not 2), Oddworld Adventures 2, one of the Harvest Moon titles, and others.

    User "Unicycle" is correct in that the convex (usually translucent) gbc cartridges won't work in game boy, gb pocket, or the japan only gb light. If you try to identify them by the box art, the Color games specifically say "Only for Game Boy Color." If not still packaged, the multi-platform carts you're looking for are typically black plastic.
