Remoteman111 is correct. The question is vague at best. It DOES depend on alot of factors such as time in grade, allowances, extra pay, etc. It is possible for an officer of a high rank to make less than an officer of a lower rank because the lower ranking officer was an enlisted man/nco first. This question is worded badly, however on the fact of it, since there is a difference of 4 grades between them, if they are both on active or reserve duty, then the 0-10 makes more than an 0-6. However there are some 0-6's in Washington DC that make slightly more than the 0-10 on the West Coast b/c of duty station and allowances.
