I have a friend that always punches me and yells at me and throws things at my throat, how can I tell him to stop, or do i just let him do it because I should be the one he should take his anger out on?

This guy does not sound like a friend. Friends do not physically hurt one another on a consistent basis. If he does not stop when you ask, friendship over. And no you shouldn't let him do it, he needs to find better, more constructive outlets for his anger. My two cents...
