Has anyone swam with dolphins?

    Seven weeks ago I had a life-altering experience while swimming with wild dolphins. This profound experience brought me to the realization of what true cooperation 'looked' like, indeed, harmony in motion.

    This lesson, still held softly in the very core of my being has returned (yet, once again) how 'to let go,' to literally 'be in the moment,' and enjoy what is THERE, rather than 'chase' or 'splash' toward another goal, which indeed would could not be found, if, indeed, I were not present, and fully aware of 'what is now.'

    More importantly, my euphony, has made clear not only my now life-long goal to protect and conserve all of our cherished sea creatures, but has convinced me that all of us may find Nature and Her wonders to be precious. Indeed, even in this moment, we can protect these gifts.

    I wrote the following, literally the day after:

    O, WOMEN OF SALACIA!

    Our boat afloat as if on a titanic breathing bosom
    inhaling, exhaling on that mighty briney breast ...

    ~~~

    She called, quiet like
    daring a devotion to deep stillness ...
    like raptures of a rhythm remembering
    She whistled, clicking Her timeless tune

    Tho’ She was dozens of many
    they were all but as one
    a chiming chorus, harmony in concert

    Her etude tilted no sharps or flats
    a moment’s song of singular movement
    sweet symphony surpassing shores

    Easily, I may have gone unnoticed floating there
    yet ... it was She who brought me to a turn:
    my new beginning, created -- just for the being there

    For the true honor was mine
    their benediction given, my blessing taken
