Aside from the different head size of each breed of Boxer. The German breed has a "longer" softer or thinner coat and the English breed has a "shorter" coarser coat. In my case of allergies with animals, the English breed did not cause an allergic reaction as the German breed did. The English breed tends to have softer looking features in comparison to the more masculine look of the German breed. One thing all Boxer breeds do have in common is their affection and loyalty to their "owner" although the boxer tends to believe that he/she is the "owner". Wonderful breed!
