Many of the Biblical patriarchs had multiple wives. Does the Bible specifically forbid polygamy?

    Noah didn't, Abraham didn't, Moses didn't.......it was not God's intention.....but it was not forbidden NOR condoned by HIM.....the one thing that was forbidden was divorce and so with all the wives Jacob, David, etc. had, they tended with NO DIVORCES....tending all the wives and kids in a righteous way is hard to do.....`and poor Jacob had his work cut out for him between the sisters, even though he had been deceived as he had deceived......
    so, no it was not forbidden , but nor was it CONDONED....it was simply not God's intent....there is a lot of partiality, jealousy , etc. in children and wives.....which is WRONG.....
