Help answer this question below.

I'm trying to decide if a leadership position at work involving a substantial raise is worth the additional stress, when I'm happy with what I'm doing now?

    I believe "stress" to be self inflicted by someone that is insecure about what they are doing. If you are confident enough about the knowledge that you have to do the work, then the stress level is lower.
    Leadership is defined by the way you are able to deligate the workload, and have people work as a team. If the people under you, respect you and know you are fair and that you know what they are expected to do and that they CAN do it. Praise to the employees is key in this ability to lead.
