voted: take plea=felony, loose custody?
Have you already been told that if you accept the plea you will lose your kids? My advice is, accept the plea, but before you do get yourself into a drug/alchohol program. You may lose your kids for a bit, but it's better than a possible 4 years. If the court sees that you are trying to help yourself and kick your problem you have a better chance of keeping your kids, or getting them back sooner.
