Question

Help answer this question below.

I've noticed that some people play acoustic guitar with the guitar rested on their left thigh, while other sit with it on their right thigh. What's the difference? Is there any, or is it just a matter of personal preferences?

Ergonomics I used to play standing up and my wrist was getting sore then I switched to sitting down and using the classical guitar position for both acoustic and electric guitars. this really helped, I also have the neck raised at an angle and this really helps. Its a matter of finding the right body position and sticking with it. Play a while in one position only and see how it feels.

Perhaps some music lessons would help along the way.
