What do waiters do that annoy you as a patron?

Personally, I get annoyed when the wait staff tells me how to eat their food. Even more so when they feel they have to check in on me and my party every 10 minutes.

    maybe it's just me, but they always seem to come over and ask how i'm doing or how is everything when i'm chewing...either i just kind of wave "ok" at them, which seems kind of rude, or i have to make them wait until i swallow, which also seems kind of rude. usually i just kick my husband under the table so he'll say something...
