You're reading Why is it, religions like Wicca are open minded, and know that Wicca is not right for everyone,While every Christian I've ver met tries to force, harass, persuade and brainwash every non-believer they are being saved from something they don't be
Comments
Idiotic. Most Wiccans know Christian beliefs because we are mostly former Christians. Wiccans in serious traditional paths are REQUIRED to read the religious texts of others and study comparative religions.

Most Wiccan arrive at their choice after a long search. Most are from other faiths. Only now am I seeing people who were raised in a organized tradition or path. Most do come from somewhere else and are therefore not ignorant as you say. My Wiccan tradition, and my High-Priestess requires that members gain knowledge of other faiths in order to become dedicated in our group. Your implied and literal comment of ignorance unfortunately shows your own ignorance. Which by the way, is common of Christians of all denominations I am aware of.

Most of the former Catholics I've known traded in because they spent more time learning about other religions than their own. I see no reason to think the same phenomenon doesn't occur with former Christians.

you are generalizing here, though you are right about many. my circle has read the bible more times than any christian i know. we have done endless research on many religions including islam, catholicism, paganism, ect. we are not all uneducated
