I feel like I know exactly what your talking about too. Though you can be surrounded by friends/family or in a relationship, none of these people truly understand you. It doesn't seem like they even understand how to "vibe" with you. It's not that your a freak or anything or even look different, it's just your intellect maybe??? Sometimes I feel as though I can understand the people around me too much. It's like I can see more in them (deep within them, like their fears and their pain etc.) and they don't even have to say anything. The fact that nobody is able to see in me what I am able to see in them, makes me feel like I have no one to relate to. If that makes sense.

You took the thoughts right out of my mind - this is exactly how I feel and have always felt. Not so much seeing into them as you do, though I do feel that I can read emotions easily, but definitely never met someone who felt even remotely in the same path as I was. Never truly found that groove with anyone. I always feel as if I'm putting on an act around friends. Not a fake version of myself,but just always felt pressured to make good conversation but never finding someone who shared my ideals at heart. It's saddening and many times it just plain sucks.
