Help answer this question below.
A frequent question raised in the abortion debate is why men should not have the same right to abort responsibility for a child? Not often noted is that this right also extends to after the child is born. Depending on the state's Safe Haven Laws, the mother has from a few days, up to one year, to abandon the child at any Hospital ER, no questions asked, such as whether there is a father who can take the child? Unknown in this is that the man can do the same thing in 46 states, though unlikely to happen for a newborn. However, the question is whether the father, or the mother, should have this right? You're reading Should a man have the same right to abort responsibility for a child, as a woman does both during the pregnancy and after the birth?
