I think it is no good to rely on just 1 web browser. You need at least 2 or 3 different web browsers in case the one you are using suddenly crashes, when you are doing something on the web.Even the best web browser can slow down or crash. And some websites and videos are faster in certain browsers.I have got Pale Moon browser, which is the open source version of Firefox,Safefox, another Firefox open source browser,Chromium,Flock,Netscape Navigater and Aol Explorer. I do not use Internet Explorer 8 as it IS very slow and always crashes. Therefore it is permenently disabled on my laptop. You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer because if you do,Windows will stop working. But you CAN hide or disable it,which is what I have done.Aol Explorer is based on the Internet Explorer engine but it is not Internet Explorer. But it is handy for sites that stiill use Internet Explorer features. My other browsers I mentioned are all Geko based engines, and Mozilla based. These are faster than Internet Explorer engine based. And Chromium,my one Chrome browser is the open source version of Google Chrome, but Chromium is much faster than Google Chrome. Which is why I use this instead of Google Chrome. But I will never use Internet explorer again as I have had too many problems with it. It is just too slow and it is time they got rid of this out dated browser.Andrea Borman.
