Help answer this question below.

Since the thinking at that time was "America First" and isolationism, do you think that FDR lied to the American people and kept information from them that led us into WWII? And, if so, do you think that he did the right thing?

    Even if FDR did know or suspect Japan's intentions, he could not declare war on Japan without the approval of congress. Congress would require proof.
