The AP didn't say they weren't covering it entirely they said they would give it appropriate coverage as a local story and wouldn't publish photos of burning books.
Funny I think the FOX who incites this sort of thing was the first out of the gate saying they wouldn't cover the event. Of course that could be about dependability.
