Iss go guy-hee may dul h-ar fa-ri-ga shir

Note: In Irish Gaelic, the long a (ay as in hay) doesn't have the ee sound at the end of it as the long a does in American English but is more like eh.

gg is a gutteral g made in the back of the throat.

oo is like the oo in book.

The ch in chnoic (and certain other Irish words) sounds a lot like k, but as with gg, it's a k sound made in the back of the throat (kh) like the ch the Scottish word, loch. (By the way, the n in chnoic is pronounced as an r (chnoic = khrik).

u is like the u in run

o' with accent is a long vowel as in go

a is like the a in lap

e is like the e in get

i is like the i in tin
