Most guys don't find insecurities attractive. If anything it can be a turn off, like you are trying to get sympathy or something. Not that I'm saying you are, I know what it's like to feel fat and ugly some days hahaha, but try to keep it to yourself. He obviously does not think you're ugly, and if you are constantly telling him you are, he may start to think it too.
