Question

The Bible says that Sunday is the sabbath correct?? It also says that one is supposed to rest on the sabbath, and not doing so would be a sin, so according to the Bible, isn't it a sin to get up and go to church in the morning?

Oh dear. Not quite right. Saturday was the Old Testament sabbath day. The Jews had many rules for the sabbath day. The Lord Jesus fulfills the sabbath. Sunday is not a sabbath day, but we tend to go to church that day as a cultural tradition. Some churches (meaning the people) don't have their services on Sunday - they might meet say, Saturday night. The Bible says get together with other believers & do it regularly. Weekly is just a good habit. So, the idea is - go to church to worship & 'cause you love to be with others, and because Christ commands it. Don't skirt the issue.
