Why do Gay people want God to recognise their union,or do they?

• It depends on their beliefs. There are many "different "God"s". Not everyone believes in the same things about god, and some people believe that god doesnt care and some people believe that god does. If they believe in God, they'll probably want a religious ceremony.

• The gods or goddesses don't have to be gay. You don't have to be gay to support homosexuality. In fact, I personally believe that if there were some kind of "god" type thing, it would not in any way, shape or form, be at all human like. Instead more like an engergy, which is why I don't think "god" at all cares. How could energy care? It doesn't, that's a human thing.

• But I suppose my definition of "god" doesn't matter- the point is, if you believe in god, the usual definition of god, this god or goddess doesn't have to be gay for you to believe in them.
