why sea water at deep ocean doesn't turn to ice? ( considering low temperature and very high pressure)

    dewshaft answered it but maybe not obvious.... water gets denser (and thus sinks)until it gets near freezing .. then (due to crystization) it gets less dense and rises. thus water on the ocean floor will never freeze until the it freezes from the top down... thus water at great depths is not cold enough to freeze water especially salt water.
