Why do people judge things before they truly understand?

    I believe people may judge things before they truly understand because of fear of the unknown, example: judging a certain religion w/o knowing what it's all about.
    It can also be a source of frustration that drives one to judge an unknown thing because the person isn't really in favor of the thing in question example: war.
    But all reasons for judging are individually motivated and the best person to explain is the individual.
    In all, people need to learn to listen and communicate better because in this day of age life is flying by in the speed of sound and the next thing you know your time here is over.
