I'm in highschool. I'm in a relationship. We text all day. Naturally, I run out of things to say and then we are just bored. Is that okay? Are we okay? -Concerned bf-

I've been there. But sadly, it was AFTER high school and the ex would NEVER talk to me face to face or call me, just text. -_- obviously it got lame, which is why he's my ex lol... but in your situation here's what I believe you should do (but if you think otherwise, you don't need to take my advice)

    1) if you go to the same high school, hang out during lunch break etc. with her and talk about stuff in person; if she goes to a different school, make time to hang out and talk

    2) give each other space. by smothering each other and having to talk to each other 24/7, it doesn't leave much to talk about.. let a day or two pass and when you guys do talk, it'll be more interesting... oh, did I mention conversations should be more face to face or voice to voice?

    3) Texting could be fun when getting to know someone better or preferable when you can't talk, but in my opinion today's technology is kind of ruining the personal relationships between people and deteriorating social skills. Instead of the simplicity of calling someone over a regular phone to ask how they're doing, we text, which makes that person become nothing but words and pictures at the most.
