Question

Help answer this question below.

When I went to start my 2001 Eclipse it wouldn't even turn over. There's a lot of corrosion on the battery. I tried cleaning it off but it didn't do anything. What should I do?

Open a can of soda and dump it over the terminals to eat up some of the corrosion and see if it will start after that, if it doesnt take the battery out of the car and have it tested at an auto parts store, some do it for free, like Auto Zone. If its a bad battery you will have to buy a new one, it could be a bad cell in the battery can make this happen. If it persists after switching out a battery it can be quite a few different things but try this first if theres as much corrosion as it seems .. Hope this helps..
