Not all Clergy take the Vow of Poverty. Normally only the ones in a particular Order - such as Franciscans, Dominicans, ... The everyday, ordinary parish Priest does not take this particular Vow.
That said.... take a look at the prices at www.almy.com (a very high end, excellent quality, supplier) You would think the items were made from pure gold.
