You're reading Why is it in Lu8:39, Jesus tells the man to go and tell of all the things God has done for him, yet he goes around and tells of all the things Jesus has done for him? Is Jesus God?

He had powers and if you look at the scripture, God said He would make him(Moses) appear "as a god". God did not say He would make him God.

You can't base you whole belief of deity on one scripture. You have to realize He has already described who He is. He was the spotless lamb sacrificed for our sin. He was God, in the flesh. There's no way you can explain that away in the Bible.

I don't understand why people try to make a doctrine out of something that is not taught in the Bible. God in the flesh.

1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, PREACHED UNTO THE GENTILES, believed on in the world, RECIEVED UP INTO GLORY.

I hope that you don't mind some copy and paste on the same discussion we are having on your multiple comments.
God in the flesh comes from 1Tim3:16 of the KJV. King James says "God" was manifest in the flesh. Scholars recognize that it should be "he" (Jesus), not "God" in the flesh and most modern translations reflect that.

.
Here are a couple of other scriptures that have been altered.
The King James says that the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one. Scholars recognize that this was added by someone trying to prove the Trinity. Most modern translations do not include this spurious reading.

.
The King James implies that Jesus was in heaven while he was on earth. Again, scholars and modern translations do not include that either.

Even if it says Jesus it is talking about the one true God, the name he inherited for the temporary, earthly role of the man they saw.
Hebrews 1:4
by PreacherMan90 on March 25th, 2010
Who did he receive his inheritance from?
(Hebrews 1:4) So he has become better than the angels, to the extent that he has inherited a name more excellent than theirs.
(Philippians 2:9) For this very reason also God exalted him to a superior position and kindly gave him the name that is above every [other] name,

'all Glory goes to God who gave it' , just as david gave all the glory to God when he won a battle against his enemies.....Jesus/God , could not walk this earth saying HIS true identity from the start, HIS PLAN could not of been ACCOMPLISHED........Moses powers were from God,even the Apostles had power , God given, from HIS HOLY SPIRIT(which is HIS Power of help and comfort) same as Jesus /God in human form.....
