Help answer this question below.

I have configured my Thunderbird as an IMAP server, Is there an option so that all new mails may directly go into my local folders? Or maybe they can duplicate themselves on the mail server and local folder?

If you use IMAP setup then all your emails will be stored on the server and a copy of the email will be available on your email client as well. If you want email to be stored on your local computer, then use POP3 setting. I hope this helps.

    Thank you,

    • no it wont work.. POP3 automatically copies the mail onto your loacal folders when you open the mail, and the copy on the mail server is lost!.. that's not what i'm looking for!
