Which area of the spinal cord affects the muscles of the legs?

    I think its the lumbar region.

    This link shows a diagram, giving details of spinal cord structure, and the various areas of nerve functions.

    • C1 down to L5 in the diagram at the website in the comment above, can all affect the leg muscles, since 'signals' have to travel through all those points to reach the leg muscles.
