im no parent, but my brother started showering when he was five, he was okay for the most part. a littl scared was all. he started taking them by him self when he felt he was ready. he just told me and my mom that he could handle it. one of us always stood outside the bathroom door just in case for the first couple months, until we decided he would be okay. introduce them to showers see if they like them first, they may be a little scared at first but reassure them its okay, and then go from there.
