Why does Jesus Christ sit on his all-powerful, all-knowing hands and allow innocent children to be raped and killed?

    ReverandJeremiah...you are right! Shame on the people who use the name of Jesus to justify their wrong doing. They put a very bad name to Christianity as do the extremists. But, I won't necessarily say they aren't true Christians. I don't know if you've ever heard of this idea, but going to Church & Christianity is like being apart of a 12 step program. We are all recovering heathens. We screw up, make mistakes and then try to do better - learn from our mistakes.

    • I wasnt asking why Jesus sat back and allowed his followers to do bad things in his name. I ask why does Jesus sit back on his all-powerful hands and watches little children get raped and murdered. I wasnt asking what going to church was like, nor was I asking why Christians would rape and murder children. Please re-read the question and answer it in context.
