Have you ever hung up on a telephone solicitor, and, if so, why?

    Used to all the time - before the no call list. (which I can share with you if you'd like.)

    The reason is simple - when I opened a phone account I did not agree to answer phone solicitors Q's , surveys. So I felt quite comfortable to say " I'm busy" then hang up. When newspaper sales people called me I'd say "I'm blind" and enjoy listening to them squirm as they tried to say good-bye.Want the # ? let me know ...now no one but friends call !

    The National "No Call Lists" prohibits BY LAW that NO telemarketers or
    Solicitors can call you - my annoying calls went from several a day to zero per day over the last many years...
