Geography is the study of anything which varies spatially. It therefore covers everything from physical geographical evidence (such as glacier ice cores) to geopolitics and socio-economic geography (such as troop movements during wars).

Geography provides both evidence to support Historians, and a different angle on the analysis to provide historians with different answers to the questions they are seeking to answer.
