How would time be perceived if the world didn't rotate or orbit the sun?

    I think time would still be perceived in the manner it is now - linear. We would not have the cyclical seasons, but, events would still appear to happen in a linear manner, we would still perceive past/present/future.

    Our environment may look a lot different though and the way we measure the passing of time would be different.
