Help answer this question below.

Why is it that people say that Americans have accents yet when a lot of foreign people sing, they lose their accent and sound American? Doesn't that mean that we really don't have an accent?

    No it's because they are singing in an American accent. Please don't make Americans sound ignorant by suggesting you don't have accents.

    • I am American. Although in truth, i'd rather not be. I quite love the Accents of Europeans, specifically, those from the UK.
