    To add to the other suggestions - Shareaza is a freeware, open-source filesharing program which is free of spyware/adware.

    You can use it to connect to networks such as Gnutella2 and eDonkey, and it also has a powerful BitTorrent client as well.

    • Another one without any spyware is KCeasy, it connects to the OpenFT, Gnutella, and Ares filesharing networks. Also, never download a filesharing cliet from anywhere than, (A) the official site, or (B) a site the main site refers you.
