Ok, here's where I sound like I have no life!

    *clears throat*

The computer voice was provided by Majel Barret, wife of Star Trek creator Gene Rodenberry. She also played the nurse Christine Chapel in the original series and Lawaxana Troi in The Next Generation (oh boy, I told you!)

She was never credited for her role as the computer voice.

    • How can we forget that she was credited for her role as "Number one" in the pilot episode "The Cage." Must be some trick of the mind by the inhabitants of Talos.
